Coast to Coast Lambretta screen – SX/TV/Special type

Sports screen for the Lambretta SX/TV scooter. It has been designed to compliment and fit any Lambretta using an octagonal SX-type headset (TV, Special and SX models and some Spanish-built Serveta models) only.
An alternative version has been produced for GP headsets.

I fitted a clear one of these a couple of years ago now to my TV200. It is neat and small enough to not change the overall appearance of the scooter, unlike some other fly screens that can be quite bulky. When fitting it needed no trimming to fit the headset and it is just secured with two tywraps.
The things you notice the most are when you are traveling at speed. It takes the wind off your chest which is great when covering long distances and does not have that wind shear effect that other fly screens seem to have and shake the handle bars.
There was a noticeable increase in top speed and even a couple of mph is welcome when we have high expectations form our ridiculously old Lambrettas.
I use an Oxford ‘Strap-Nav’ holder for my Garmin sat nav from my car which uses 2 velcro straps to mount. It fist perfectly over the speedo behind the screen and in an optimal position for reading when riding.
